Gypsy angel

Oops oops I am a bit late with my Monday blog post, it is already Thursday, a day when we start celebrating the weekend here in Doha :D so before I start celebrating it I want to tell you few things.

I want to share with you a painting I've just finished for a newborn Dana Alicia. Customer wanted something related to gypsy and circus and I was so happy with that idea. I love when customers are creative and give me new ideas to work on.

On Friday, 6th February I participated in 9th Katara QatART Handmade Market and it was really lovely. Here are few photos of my table

Special visitor to that market was a Blue Raccoon, my newest cuddle toy :D

There is also a progress in my work for the upcoming group exhibition with International Artists Doha in March 2015. I will share the photos next time. I really need to hurry up with that painting!

Time for peace and quiet

Hello my dear friend and welcome to my newest Monday blog post.

I'm having a blast in Croatia surrounded with my family and fiends.
Happiness is all around me :D

What I've been doing since I've arrived?
I had a little bit of time to visit artOmat - market where Croatian artists and designers sell their latest work. I can say that most all of them have products of great quality and design, I was truly impressed.

There are also few locations in the city center with outdoor arts and crafts markets. I didn't have time to take photos except at Advent na Zrinjevcu located in park Zrinjevac, 2 minutes walking distance from Zagreb main square.

Giving back to community

This Monday blog post is about giving back to community.

MIA PARK BAZAAR October 2013

It is going to be 3 years in January since I've moved to Qatar. I can't believe how time flies when you enjoy what you do, when you explore new opportunities and meet new people. Qatar became my home and I've decided to give back to this community.

Giving back to community doesn't need to include money but giving a bit of your free time and your heart.

On Friday it was a really hot day around 40 degrees or even more and we were getting ready for Ladies of Harley Breast Cancer Awareness Day event. It's my 3rd year now since I've became active in this event. It was organized at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha and it was beautiful. Hayat cancer support group representative was also present. I told her about my initiative for raising money for the breast cancer patients who need money for the treatment and she was so happy and promised to put me in contact with them. I want to thank Margarita for organizing everything and giving me the opportunity for being involved in such an amazing event.

Just a quick reminder about my initiative: I painted a painting Little Pink Angel and made 5 different items, paper goods with that image. I'm selling them at the events and online. You can find them all on this link

On Saturday I was at the Museum of Islamic Art Park Bazaar from 12-5pm. I almost melted how hot it was, 41 degrees. My friend Aly saved me with a big shade she brought. If there wasn't her I wouldn't be even considering of staying in the sun. There was not many customers but those who came were really supportive and they melted my heart :)

Doha Flea Market

First edition of Doha Flea Market took place on 28th September 2013, from 4 to 11pm at the Doha Swiss Bell hotel ballroom. There were 50 sellers and plenty of visitors. I was a bit tired and not quite myself :))) because I just arrived that morning from Istanbul.
