Hello my dear friend!


My newest angel painting wasn't inspired by Frank Sinatra's song 'Come fly with me' but when I was thinking about the name I remembered his song and thought that would be the perfect name for this painting.
I used  the technique of painting the background first, gluing doily and then the rest was painted using my imagination.

Princess Angel followed after, using the same technique and a metal thing for the crown I found on the floor at the Souq Wakif here in Doha. I think it is part of an earing. I colored it with acrylic paint to look like it is corroded bronze.

For gluing doily I used Bindex Brillant which I bought for $10 in an art shop called Color Note in Doha.

I don't know if you've noticed but I have a new pieces of furniture in my studio. I'm so in love with them! Old refurbished wooden pieces from India - one is a bookshelf and the other one is a side table. I also did a big cleaning and reorganizing all my art supplies and my studio looks so nice now.
