Happy Birthday To Me

Monday blog post #49

Hello and welcome!

Happy Eid aDha to my Muslim friends!

Last week was my Bday!!!

*** Happy Bday To Me!!! ***

It was on Thursday, 10th October :)
I'm 36, wow!!!

I'm so grateful for all the messages, emails, calls, songs and pictures I got :)
It was one beautiful day and you made it more special! Thank you all!
I love this poem written by my talented and funny friend:

There once was a girl
Her name was Dommypoo
She had so many paintings,
So many were new.
They were stashed in the cupboards,
They were stacked on her chair.
And her poor old husband,
Was tearing out his hair.
But what's a poor girl
Supposed to do.
There's simply no wall space,
When you live in a shoe.

Last week I started working on my new paintings for Christmas, Silent Night and Singing Christmas Bird.

Next Saturday I will be selling paper goods with my illustration Little Pink Angel at the Pink Ribbon Awareness Day at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Doha. I hope to raise more money for breast cancer patients for their treatment.
Come and join us for a day dedicated to increase awareness of breast cancer.
Several talk-shows and workshops will take place focusing on healthy lifestyle, prevention, early detection and testimonials from survivors.

Cheerful Angel

Monday blog post #21

Good morning my friend!

I will start this post from the end :)
So, my weekend was amazing: hubby, friends, club and the beach.
We tried new coffee shop at Katara Cultural Village Chac'late,  where you can buy handmade chocolate or have a Parisian breakfast, a bit pricy but the lavender tea was so nice.

Famous beach around 70 km from our home called Fuwairit was our Saturday destination. While we were driving there it was 30 degrees and once we got there it was around 25 with strong wind and cloudy :(
My brave hubby went for a quick swim while I was sitting on a blanket warped in my towel :)))

Frozen like that we went to a newly opened IKEA store and comparing to outside temperature in the store was like in a freezer. I found beautiful frames for my bunny drawings.

And now back to the begging, during the week I was catching up with your custom orders, I painted two paintings 'Guardian Angel' and 'Cheerful Angel Tilla' and I started working on a new painting 'Angel with a flower in her hair' based on my sketch.

Pirate and Gypsy

Monday blog post #13

Hello my lovely and dear readers!

Last week I've been really busy with my new illustrations. I can't say which one I like more. They are a bit different from my previous work.

French Bulldog Pirate

Foxy Gypsy

I also finished one painting which is going to be for sale at my upcoming exhibition with an International Artist Doha group in March.

The Museum of Islamic Art Park Bazaar (every first Saturday of each month) became so popular that I barely managed to reserve my table and still am not sure if I'm going to get it but hopefully one table will be free for me :) So, if you live in Doha and are free stop by and say hello! I'm planing to have lovely new stuff just for this event :)

Love and hugs!
