Dinosaur, Sardines and Bazaar

Monday blog post #71

Busy busy women :DDD

Last week I spent working on few custom orders and my favorite is dinosaur painting on t-shirt. That was my first time painting with fabric colors and I was really excited to see how it will went. Great help was a tracing pen which self-disappears after 2-3 days and I used it to draw everything before I started painting. Pen is called JAVANA disappearing Pen
You can find it in art shop called Art Elements (www.facebook.com/ArtElementsQatar) in the Gate Mall in Doha on 2nd floor.

My sardine brooches starting to be popular, they are really cute and each is different with a different a bit strange names (I give them names typing on my keyboard without looking :)))))

There was not much time for new creations for the bazaar at the Museum of Islamic Art Park but I managed to make one cute little painting with ink and watercolors "Vilma" which is now with her new owner. I love antique looking frames, when ever I see them I have to buy them and my work always looks nice in them.

Oh and at the Museum of Islamic Art Park Bazaar on Saturday was pretty hot but really windy so I only noticed when it was over that I got sunburns on my chest, neck and arms... not good :(
But the bazaar was nice with lots of beautiful comments. I am really grateful for them, thank you all for coming even though it was hot!

All the photos were taken by me except the ones of me, they were taken by my hubby :*

Report from Katara Qatart Handmade Market

Monday blog post #70

Last week was really busy since my group QatART had it's own handmade market for the first time organized at Katara on Friday, 28th March. It was really nice and beautiful. My friend Chiara said it was magical, and it was indeed magical. Few of us were working on beautiful bunting and signs. Team from Katara Art Studios was really supportive and helpful and we are all grateful for this opportunity.
Here are few photos just to see a bit of an atmosphere.
