Hand painted elephant toy

Hi my dear friends,

Let me introduce you to little Bibi, my newest hand painted toy. I really enjoy every minute of creating my hand painted toys. This one particular is made by custom order for an arriving baby :D
It has a little hat with a bell on top, a little funny tail and a flappy ears.

Exciting project: a hand painted skirt

Hi my dear friend,

My clients are so inspiring and innovative and I love when they challenge me to do new things.
These last couple of days I was working on a very exciting project, I was painting on a black skirt for the first time. The skirt was made here in Krakow by talented Tamara Matvisin so it was a collaborative work :D
For dark fabrics there are special opak colors to cover the darkness. I had so much fun because although I had in mind what I want to paint (it was an image I created last year for one of the Make Art That Sells Bootcamp assignments) I was changing it on spot and adding more details and things my client had asked for. Also it was a challenge to paint it because it had those two layers of tule on top. I used one of my new canvases and put it under the skirt so that I have a nice surface to paint on and I put cellophane in between so I don't destroy my new canvas.
So here it is!

New hand painted cuddle pillow

Hi my friend!

Lots of things are happening in my studio. I am working on several projects including a logo design, a wedding invitation design and a memory album design. I am also working on a new task for the Fritzi Flock community - an illustration on a theme "The early bird catches the worm". Here is my sketch and I am planing to make the painting on canvas with acrylics.

Last week I finished another project - a hand painted cloud cuddle pillow for little Lara and thanks to the Slow Fashion Cafe in Krakow where I go to sew my pillows I managed to finish it on time. I really enjoy going there as the IWAK (International Women Association) Slow Fashion Design Group is meeting there every Tuesday so we can chat and exchange ideas and see what others are working on.

Christmas/Holiday collection

Wednesday blog post #11

Hello!
I had a very productive two weeks and still continuing to work without stopping. It makes me so happy and my days are too short for everything I would like to do and make!!!

Can't wait to show you my latest illustrations I made for my Christmas/Holiday collection. I know I am a bit late and that makes me nervous but hopefully this week everything will be ready and then next week I am participating in an Art and Food Bazaar where I am going to show my work for the first time to Cracow audience :D I am planing to make a collection which will include cards, prints and gift tags.

Next painting was made for special order from one friend in Doha to another in Finland :D
Idea for the painting came from a client. I so love when my clients are so cleaver!!!

Another little painting I finished last week I am donating to the International Women Association Krakow (IWAK) for auction and all funds will go to "Przedzkole specjalne Nr.100" located in Nowa Huta (it is a special institution dedicated in supporting the development of children with special educational needs -www.wboxi.com/site/przedszkole100.pl).

I called this painting "Let's make the world a better place" because it is showing how the elephant is taking a good care of a little bird. And look at the little ladder for a bird to be able to climb to the bird's house :D

I also started working on new cuddle pillow designs. So far I made cloud and raindrop pillows and now I am introducing new designs in a round shapes with images of different animals. Now I need to sew them :D

And I want to show you this as well, if you are not following me on Facebook or Instagram then you probably haven't seen it. My client sent me this photo of a bear which is made of her daughter's first clothes including my hand painted body suit I've painted specially for her. The bear is made by Krpancek.
