Cute Christmas Paintings

Monday blog post #51

Hello and welcome!

It's been a year since I've decided to write my blog posts every Monday.
You can come over every Monday to read what was happening during the past week and if you don't want to forget, you can  register for RSS Feed and my Monday blog post will be delivered to your email box at the moment it's been published.

So, what was going on last week???

My group and a handmade community called QatART with 6 of us in our board team was organizing our first event in collaboration with Inspiration Station on Friday. We were doing everything from registering vendors, making decorations for the venue, putting the tables and decorations, cleaning after, to designing the promotional materials and promotion of the event. We are all doing that on volunteer base and I can say we did a great job.
Congrats to all my girls: Aly, Mel, Janiththri, Leila and Gabi and all our helpers for making it such a success.

Here are the photos from the event - Freaky Friday

My hubby and me at Freaky Friday

I was photographer at the event + I had a photo booth for taking photos of people with my handmade Halloween props. It was such a fun day!

Along with all the preparations for the event I was working on my Cute Christmas paintings and one custom ordered painting.

How did I manage to do all that?
I don't know but I know I spent my Saturday afternoon in bed resting.

I've already confirmed my participation in few events during November and December, you can see all of them under this link.

First one is on Saturday, 2nd November at Museum of Islamic Art Park bazaar from 12-7pm.

Now I'm off to start designing my Christmas products!
Stay tuned on my Facebook page.

Sending you my smile with love,

Happy Birthday To Me

Monday blog post #49

Hello and welcome!

Happy Eid aDha to my Muslim friends!

Last week was my Bday!!!

*** Happy Bday To Me!!! ***

It was on Thursday, 10th October :)
I'm 36, wow!!!

I'm so grateful for all the messages, emails, calls, songs and pictures I got :)
It was one beautiful day and you made it more special! Thank you all!
I love this poem written by my talented and funny friend:

There once was a girl
Her name was Dommypoo
She had so many paintings,
So many were new.
They were stashed in the cupboards,
They were stacked on her chair.
And her poor old husband,
Was tearing out his hair.
But what's a poor girl
Supposed to do.
There's simply no wall space,
When you live in a shoe.

Last week I started working on my new paintings for Christmas, Silent Night and Singing Christmas Bird.

Have a lovely weekend

Monday blog post #8

It's almost Saturday and I didn't write my Monday blog post, I'm so so sorry.
I hope you were also busy and didn't noticed that I forgot to write it :)

I wish and hope you had a beautiful Christmas and that you celebrated it with people you love, like I did :)

Since I came to Croatia I'm meeting with friends and family and few days before Christmas me and my husband went to visit my family in Osijek (town where I grew up). Although is really difficult time for my mom, my sisters and me, since my father died early this year, we managed to celebrate Christmas with joy. I think that's only because we are blessed with my little nephew Filip who was born one month before my father died. He is our light and he makes us all so happy.

As you could read in my previous post, I forgot my camera in Doha so I'm taking photos with my phone and they are not that nice but I want to show you some photos of things I was working on while being in Croatia.

Christmas postcards

This sweet little Christmas postcards size 11x15 cm are printed from my original artwork. The postcards are offset printed on 300 gsm Conqueror Diamond White paper with blank white back which makes them suitable for framing or mailing.
Some of the parts are accented by hand with very beautiful, sparkly glitter (to which the photo does not do justice).
Also at a front there's a blank space under a picture where you can write your own message like Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, or something more personal like for my friend ♥♥♥ ... or draw something like big big big heart...
