First edition of Doha Flea Market took place on 28th September 2013, from 4 to 11pm at the Doha Swiss Bell hotel ballroom. There were 50 sellers and plenty of visitors. I was a bit tired and not quite myself :))) because I just arrived that morning from Istanbul.

I had only products with the Little Pink Angel illustration because I was raising money for the families in need who's members are fighting the breast cancer. Profit from each sale goes for this cause. I will be raising money during events in October as well and I will be posting information on how much I've raised, on my blog and on my Facebook Page. So far I've raised 695 qr (or $190). At the end of October I will give the money to Hayat Cancer Support Group.

Pink Edition is a new range of paper goods with my newest illustration Little Pink Angel.

In the corner of my heart

In 2011 my friend Margarita invited me to join the group Ladies of Harley as I'm riding sometimes with my husband as a passenger. The group is very active especially when it comes to charity and since 2009 Margarita has been organizing the kick off ride for the breast cancer awareness month in October.

I joined them in 2011 and it is going to be my third year that I'm involved in this event to raise the awareness and money for the families in need who's members are fighting cancer. We are going to have an event on 4th October at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and everyone is welcome!

Separate from that, I'm also working on my own project for the same purpose. I created this little angel illustration and I'm going to make postcards, prints, bookmarks, calendars with this image and the profit from the sale at the upcoming events and markets in October will go to charity.

Hope you have your Angel

We all need angels in our life, specially Angel of Hope.

Angel of Hope is almost done. As you can see I've changed hearts for butterflies. What do you think? I think it looks better and necklace that was inspiration also has butterflies :)

Sketchbook

I bought my first sketchbook yesterday. This is the first sketch - Angel of hope based on idea of my dear friend Albina. I will start with this painting soon and you will post the creation process here.
